Cookie was born sometime in February of 2002 (we think) and turned in to the shelter in Virginia along with her 6 siblings. She made her way to the Blue Ridge Border Collie Rescue where we adopted her on May 11, 2002. We know that she is part Border Collie but are unsure of her other half. She acts very much like a Jack Russell at times and that trait seems more dominant than her Border Collie side. She loves our Jack Russell Ed and will romp around with him for hours in the yard.
Cookie's first tournament was at the St. Pat Pup Fest in Columbiana Alabama on March 15, 2003 where she earned her FD. Her second tournament was the Tarheal 2003 held in Charlotte North Carolina on March 30, 2003 and she earned her FDX. Her third tournament was the Hit Squad - Gateway tournament in Springfield Illinois on April 12, 2003 where she earned her FDCh. Cookie earned her FM at the Let Freedom Run (July 17 & 18, 2004) tournament in Houston, TX, and her FMX at the South Carolina Classic in Florence, SC on May 14, 2005.
