Hi Cotton Edge "Ed" was born April 24, 2000 and was bred by Margaret Byrd, Hi Cotton Kennels, Olive Branch, MS. Ed came to us on June 15, 2001 after a stint on the Confirmation circuit. Having a slight undershot bite Ed made the trip back to the breeder and into our home. We feel very lucky to have found this great little guy.
Ed started Flyball training in the fall of 2001 and ran in his first tournament January 12, 2002. As with most Jack Russell Terriers, Ed has had his share of problems in the beginning, but he continues to improve and get faster with each tournament. Ed earned his Flyball Master at the Tarheel 2003 tournament in Charlotte, NC on March 29, 2003, his Flyball Master Excellent at the Ketch This tournament in Tampa, FL on July 27, 2003, his Flyball Master Champion at the Waverunners tournament in West Palm Beach, FL on November 8, 2003, his ONYX at the Birmingham Bandits tournament in Talladega, AL on March 7, 2004, and his FGDCH at the Birmingham Bandits tournament in Irondale on July 2, 2005.
Ed is the 4th dog in Region 14 to earn the Flyball Grand Champion title.
